The Rouge NV01 released this time is a multi-vintage blend with 80% grapes from the 2023 harvest and 20% from 2022. The 2023 vintage is mainly Pinot Noir, and since the Armonoir was pressed without fermentation, it resulted in a relatively light red. By adding the 2022 Armonoir, which was fully fermented and aged in barrels, the wine gains body and complexity. It offers a different impression compared to the 2022 vintage.
Fruity fruitiness and violet-like floral aroma. A subtle refreshing hint of mint. The firm acidity of Armonoir supports the wine, making it light and easy to drink. It pairs well with sour dishes like Chinese cuisine, as well as stewed offal and peperoncino, enhancing both the meal and the wine.
