The year 2023 was very good for early-maturing red varieties, as there was no rain at all from the end of July to mid-September. To make the most of the quality of the fruit, we are producing red wine this year.
The aroma from the glass is of vibrant red fruits and a mysterious, complex scent. There are also nuances reminiscent of hojicha. On the palate, you can feel a soft texture and a gradually spreading umami. If possible, aging it for 1 to 2 years would help to harmonize the slightly rough elements and improve it even further.
This wine, which tends to divide opinions every time, has a flavor that I believe is irresistible for those who like it.
