Carvedocchi / Yamadori Dance (Labrusca) 2024 (Red) 750ml
Regular price ¥3,190Yamadori has been blending multiple varieties based on Steuben and Campbell.
Personally, I thought the flavor was highly refined and had no intention to change the blend, but for 2024, I added Vitis vinifera aiming for a more complex taste.
The chosen grape is Pinot Noir. I felt this charming and savory flavor was a perfect match for Yamadori.
The top notes are pink grapefruit, strawberry, and raspberry nuances.
It has a moderate volume on the palate, and finishes with a gentle acidity that spreads gradually.
While fully showcasing the charm of fresh eating grapes, you can clearly feel the nuances of Pinot Noir in the finish. The previous blend was good, but this wine has developed a different kind of appeal.
Nowadays, there is FUNPY as a lineup of table grapes, but that style adds a small amount of SO2 at bottling.
This is from the animal series, so it is completely additive-free.
