This wine is made from Pinot Noir grown in our own vineyard in the Yasudo area of Ono, located at an altitude of 850m. The 2024 vintage suffered devastating damage to the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown in our vineyard due to a late frost that fell early morning on May 10.
This is a light-bodied style wine made by fermenting a very small amount of fruit that grew from new shoots that survived under desperate conditions, in an open tank, then aged in stainless steel tanks.
