“Ogoso” is a Nagano dialect word meaning “delicious feast.” Like the Mori Music Festival, this wine is carefully crafted from dedicated wine grape varieties aiming for authenticity while maintaining a casual style.
This wine uses 60% Merlot from Azumino City and Ikeda Town, and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from Azumino City. The grapes are crushed and fermented at low temperature for five days before alcohol fermentation, followed by about two weeks of fermentation at a relatively low temperature, then lactic acid fermentation. To add complex flavors, it is aged for three months in old barrels. It features a gentle taste with a medium-light body.
