Manns Wine (Katsunuma Winery) / Imayo 2018 (Rosé Sparkling)
Regular price ¥3,190A dry sparkling wine produced by Mr. Takuro Tatsumi, chairman of the "Association of Wine Lovers of Japan." Made using wild grapes native to Japan and the representative Koshu variety, crafted by the Charmat (cuve close) method.
A rich wine harmonizing the punchy acidity of wild grapes with the delicate flavor of Koshu grapes. You can enjoy the long-lasting, delicate, and smooth bubbles created by carbon dioxide naturally produced by yeast and dissolved directly into the wine.
"Imayo" means "trendy" or "fashionable." This wine, made from Japan's representative grape varieties, was named by Mr. Tatsumi with the hope of spreading the "spirit of Japan" in modern Japan.
The 2018 vintage is finished as sec. It has a subtle sweetness and is very easy to drink.
Pairs well with slightly spicy dishes like pork kimchi and chili shrimp, as well as desserts after meals.
