The balance between oak and fruit flavors is beautifully harmonious, characterized by a firm texture and lively acidity. The finish is clean, with a long-lasting complexity of toast and gentle yeast-derived nuances.
About the label:
Believing that human involvement is essential in winemaking, we intentionally included people in the two photos symbolizing this vintage. The photos were taken at Toyokuni Shrine (Senjokaku) in Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture, which is also where this Chardonnay is aged. The use of old oak wood in the shrine symbolizes our philosophy of using only previously used oak barrels for this vintage.
