At Villa Dest Winery's own vineyard in the Tazawa area of Tōmi City, grapes have been grown without synthetic pesticides since 2006. The Merlot harvested from this vineyard is fermented with natural yeast native to the grapes and bottled unfiltered. This is a "natural" style red wine with reduced use of preservatives.
This wine offers a "gentle" character and charm, different from the traditional style of Vignerons Reserve.
Barrel aged for about 1.5 years.
