Petit Verdot, known as a supplementary variety in France, suits the climate and terroir of Katsunuma very well, producing distinctive and characterful wines every year.
It has a pleasant aroma of ripe fruit, vanilla, and caramel derived from the barrel, with lively and rich fruit flavors, soft tannins, and moderate acidity harmonizing to create a wine with a solid body.
In 2021, it was made with 100% Petit Verdot without blending other varieties.
