This year's "Kagayaki" is a collaboration of Muscat Bailey A grapes from Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Akiba of Kaminoyama City, who love grapes the most. Mr. Suzuki's MBA is fully destemmed and free-run juice is removed to bring out a richer, deeper flavor through thorough fermentation. Mr. Akiba's Bailey A is fermented with whole clusters. We blended the same variety of MBA to express the close friendship of these two gentlemen through wine. Unlike the delicate taste of 2021, this wine has a structured flavor derived from whole clusters. The color is a deep burgundy. The aroma of barrel aging, the slightly sweet scent unique to MBA, beautiful acidity, and soft tannins create an enveloping taste.
Aged carefully for 3 to 4 years, allowing you to enjoy the changes in flavor over time.
