This year's "Kagayaki" is a collaboration of Muscat Bailey A from Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Akiba, who love grapes the most in Kamiyama City. Mr. Suzuki's MBA is carefully fermented after destemming all the grapes and removing the free run to bring out a richer and deeper flavor. Mr. Akiba's Bailey A is fermented whole cluster. We blended the same variety of MBA to express the friendship of these two who are usually close, even in wine. Distinct from the delicate taste of 2021, it has a flavor profile with structure derived from whole clusters. The color is a deep burgundy. The taste is enveloped by the aging aroma from the barrel, a slightly sweet scent unique to MBA, beautiful acidity, and soft tannins.
