Koaso Farm / Rivers Partner's Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (Red) 750ml

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many wineries reduced their wine production, leading to a decrease in the volume of grapes purchased from growers by wineries.
To support grape growers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, we purchased their grapes and turned them into wine, resulting in the Rivers Partner's Cuvee 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Although this is a COVID-19 relief wine, it features Cabernet Sauvignon from Kadofuji Farm, led by Soichi Sato, a specialist grape grower whose grapes have been used by Obuse Winery and other famous wineries. Mr. Sato had 40 years of experience as a contracted grower for major manufacturers and was an award-winning cultivator in competitions. Sadly, after cultivating this vintage, he passed away, making this not only a COVID-19 relief wine but also the final work of a genius grower.
Enjoy the balance of tannins and acidity in the Cabernet Sauvignon, along with the rich body of the grapes. Stainless steel fermentation brings out the grape's flavor. The strong tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon are mellowed by the toasted oak chip flavors, creating a pleasant drinking experience. Using Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowned Kadofuji Farm in Nagano, part of the Partner's Cuvee series, you can fully appreciate the grape variety.
