Iwasaki Brewing / Honjo Koshu Dry Large Barrel Aged (White) 720ml
Regular price ¥1,870/
Including tax
Iwasaki Brewery's flagship label. Its relaxed taste accompanied by a gentle aroma reminiscent of white peach is its charm.
Fermented using free-run (first pressing) Koshu grapes.
Afterwards, it is aged for several months in a 5,000L large barrel made in Showa 19 (1944) that conveys the history of Iwasaki Brewery, making it a white wine unlike any other.
Using traditional large barrels, the wine matures slowly.
While retaining the elegance of Koshu, it imparts barrel flavors and umami to the wine.
Aroma of Japanese citrus like iyokan, white peach, and apple, with a nuance of flint.
Gentle on the palate with pure fruit flavors and a rich finish.
