Deep garnet with a blackish center. Glossy, radiant, and healthy. A rich, deep color tone unlike typical Hokkaido wines. Aromas of ripe mulberries, blackberries, cassis, dark berry jam, and dried prunes, blended with cocoa, chocolate, black pepper, licorice, star anise, tanned leather, roasted notes, sous-bois (damp forest floor), and nuances of black truffle create a rich bouquet. The attack expands into a full body with gentle smoothness and fine tannins. Complex and supple texture born from long barrel aging. Full-bodied yet refined, with a pleasant lingering finish. Despite its intensity, it has a mysterious charm that makes you want to drink it repeatedly. This wine features a deep, long-aging style with high fruit and new barrel harmony, making it a unique red wine from Hokkaido.
