We barrel-aged Kogoshi, a deeply colored wine descended from Japan's native mountain grape,and blended it with Muscat Bailey A, a domestically improved variety,to create a "Japan Blend" wine made exclusively from these two domestic varieties.
Both Koshikoji and Muscat Bailey A are barrel-aged. Barrel aging the sharply acidic, deeply colored, and light-flavored Koshikoji adds smoothness and complexity, while wrapping it in the elegant aroma of Muscat Bailey A.
