"Sancemillon" is a Japanese white wine grape variety. It produces a fruity wine with a floral aroma. Despite being a white wine, it has an eye-catching orange-tinged color and a citrus-scented aroma.
As a sparkling wine, it is best enjoyed well chilled, but warming it slightly reveals honey-like notes. This sparkling wine, made by secondary fermentation in the bottle, features a pronounced tropical aroma. It’s a wine that matches the image of Setouchi, a citrus-producing region.
Citrus fruits ripening in clusters on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. During their journey across the sea, they may have appeared orange on the water’s surface, basking in the warm winter sunlight. We named it "Touha," meaning orange waves, inspired by this scene and the wine’s color and flavor.
