Made using Muscat Bailey A grapes contract-grown in Asahi Town, Yamagata Prefecture, this wine underwent cold maceration (fermentation at low temperature for a set period before fermentation) to carefully bring out the fullest fruit flavors.
A red wine matured for 11 months in French wine barrels, then bottled and aged for over a year. It features the elegant aroma of Muscat Bailey A, flavors of red fruits like raspberry and wild strawberry, barrel-derived spiciness, and a pleasant, fine tannin finish.
