In recent years, the impact of COVID-19 has caused various difficulties in many areas.
Around us, this means significant damage to our customers in the food and beverage industry, resulting in decreased sales at various wineries, inability to export, production adjustments at wineries, lowballing of contracted farmers, sudden cancellations, and so on.
However, in any era, tragedies—whether natural or man-made—inevitably occur to some extent.
We were born on this Earth as humans.
Humans are just one very small species among Earth’s life forms.
In the ever-changing workings of this Earth each year, feeling confused or experiencing emotions like joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure is simply because humans are the only life form with the essence of desire.
That said, it’s not about being pessimistic or self-deprecating; as a unique life form, I believe there are things we can do for the workings of this Earth.
Even if man-made or natural disasters occur, with the right mindset, things can become either happy or unhappy.
In this case, it was the encounter with new farmers.
There was a meeting with farmers in Kaminoyama City who lovingly and diligently grow grapes. Without this event, we might never have met.
And then, new wonderful friends joined, making a wine that everyone could enjoy.
With that story, we made a wine called POS.

With just a change in mindset
You can always stay cheerful

Such a chain of smiles
Will create a more peaceful world
