Curvedocchi / Yamadori Dance 2023 (Red) 750ml
Regular Price ¥3,190We made Yamadori Mau for the first time in a while. The grape varieties used are almost the same as "Yamadori Tobu" (based on Steuben and Campbell), but since this wine is a still wine, we slightly adjusted the blend ratio. The top notes are nuances of pink grapefruit and strawberry. When you taste it, it has a moderate volume, and the finish spreads with gentle acidity. It brings out the charm of table grapes while maintaining a balanced wine profile, making it very approachable. I deeply feel that I like this kind of wine. Nowadays, there is FUNPY as a lineup of table grapes, but that style adds a small amount of SO2 at bottling. This one is from the Dobutsu series, so it is completely additive-free. I have no intention of debating the pros and cons of SO2 at this point; I hope you understand this as an explanation that this one is more relaxed.
