Kozuki Wines / Aya Rouge 2022 (Red) 750ml

We blended the wine made solely from Merlot with the one made from a blend based on Regent. In both cases, all raw materials were destemmed and underwent natural fermentation with wild yeast for one week at around 27°C. After fermentation, the wine was pressed using a basket press and aged in stainless steel tanks for about six months. During this time, the sediment was allowed to settle by gravity, and two rackings were performed. After that, the wines that were each made separately were blended.

Bottling was done in March 2023, followed by an additional 6 months of aging in the bottle, and the release was in October of the same year.

The aroma of spices such as cinnamon and black pepper, along with the scent of dark berries like cassis and blackberry.

The aroma has a meaty scent reminiscent of coarse sausage, providing a significant impact.

Smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and juicy flavors of red fruits spread throughout the mouth.

The finish is very long, resulting in a refreshing red wine with a satisfying body.
