In 2022, the budding was late, with many nests of paper wasps due to a dry rainy season. The weather was good during the harvest of Merlot and Cabernet in September. The sugar content of the grapes also exceeded 20 degrees. Compared to Purple Peaks, the tannins derived from Cabernet and Petit Verdot are supple.
Oak has red to black fruits reminiscent of black currant, dried raisins, and figs (especially black figs). The oak flavor is moderate, with a hint of coffee and vanilla. There are also nuances similar to menthol. A slight atmosphere of Bordeaux wine can be felt. There is also a flavor of brown sugar.
