Bellwood Vineyard / Cuvée des Amis 2021 Chardonnay & Petit Manseng (White) 750ml

Cuvee des Amis is a high-end series made from carefully selected grapes by a grower acquaintance.
Unfiltered, so there may be cloudiness and sediment (suspended particles, etc.).
A blend of Chardonnay (74%) and Petit Manseng (26%) from Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture. After skin contact and low-temperature fermentation to draw out aroma and umami, it was aged sur lie in French oak barrels for 14 months, resulting in a complex and deep flavor.
This is a dry white wine with a rich and concentrated flavor, harmonizing aromas of tropical fruits and honey with vanilla and nuts.
The year 2021 was blessed with excellent weather from September to October, allowing the grapes to mature healthily. We delayed the harvest of Chardonnay until mid-October to coincide with the Petit Manseng harvest, enabling us to produce wine from grapes with unprecedented ripeness.
