Okayama Wine Valley / Sparkling HAKUBI Chardonnay 2019 (White Sparkling) 750ml
Regular Price ¥6,050This is a sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle, mainly made from Chardonnay grown in Tetta Town, Niimi City, in the northwest part of Okayama Prefecture. This product contains about one-quarter of the juice from Sangiovese, which is also grown for red wine. This juice is extracted through a process called saignée (bleeding) used in red wine production, which gives it a slight color.
This is a rare combination wine with the elegant taste of Chardonnay and a slight accent of Sangiovese, and I think you can fully enjoy the sharpness as well as the rich flavor of the grapes.
