Kitani Wine / Ruby Rose 2023 (Rosé Sparkling) 750ml

We used seedless Pione, Black Beat, Golby, and seeded Delaware (only free run for Delaware). We received grapes from a trusted farmer in Habikino.

A good memory is when Kitani and staff member Daichi harvested 800 kilograms of grapes in the midsummer greenhouse and became exhausted (laugh).

Pione and Golby are pressed as fruit and made by white winemaking. Black Beat undergoes semi-maceration carbonic fermentation. Delaware is pressed separately into free run and press run and made by white winemaking.

They are blended, then after primary fermentation is complete, the lees are removed, sugar is added to create effervescence, and bottled.

The rusticity typical of table grapes was suppressed by white winemaking and semi-maceration carbonic methods.

The aroma is like Kyoho grape wine, with strawberry, raspberry, and apple scents.

The alcohol is low and slightly sparkling, making it smooth to drink, with tannins derived from Black Beat and a satisfying body from seeded Delaware.

In the second year after the winery was completed, we challenged ourselves with low-priced wines.

I think it's good value for money!

If you uncork it when the temperature is high and sediment is mixed, it may gush out, so please chill it well and let it stand upright for a while before uncorking.
