After destemming the red wine grape variety Merlot, it is immediately pressed to make rosé wine. It is a sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle. The aroma of berries and the fruitiness derived from Merlot are supported by gentle acidity. It has a dry taste, combining the best of red and white wines, making it a food-friendly wine.
In 2022, it was produced without added sulfites (antioxidants). It has a fresher and more transparent taste.
The beautiful cherry blossom-colored liquid catches the eye. When I first saw this color, I imagined a scene where everything around was dyed cherry blossom pink during the cherry blossom season. I likened that scenery and color to a sea of flowers (Hanami) and named it accordingly.
