The vineyard is located in Iwadarehara, Shiojiri City, in the southwestern part of the Matsumoto Plain in Shinshu, surrounded by mountains around 3000 meters high. It sits on a complex alluvial fan formed by the Azusa River flowing from the Hotaka mountain range, at an elevation of 700 meters. The soil consists of 20 cm of black volcanic ash on the surface, with clay beneath.
Fermented slowly at low temperature in stainless steel tanks for about one month. This wine features gentle fruit flavors of ripe apples and apricots, with honey and a subtle bitterness as accents.
