Coco Farm Winery / Ima Koko Red 2024 (Red) 750ml
Regular Price ¥2,860“Ima Koko” features calligraphy by Mitsuo Aida, who was born and lived in Ashikaga, on the label.
Using Bordeaux varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Japan's unique Muscat Bailey A, grapes carefully grown across Japan were fermented with wild yeast and wild lactic acid bacteria at the Ashikaga winery. It is a gentle and hopeful red wine.
Aroma includes fruits like raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, spicy notes like green pepper, licorice, cocoa, and nuances of barrel aging.
Light and fresh attack, very gentle tannins with no sharpness in flavor, and moderate acidity that gives the wine freshness.
Enjoy a supple and well-balanced taste through the finish.
