Zuisen Brewery / Shokaku 53 degrees 500ml
Regular Price ¥28,600"Shokaku," infused with our dedication. Made only with long-grain rice from Okinawa Prefecture and born from the pursuit of the finest sake brewing, it is an extremely rare Awamori.
In terms of production method, unlike regular Awamori, the distillation process is stopped early to collect only the high-quality part of the first distillation. We achieved a balance where aroma and taste coexist, completing it as a "53-degree undiluted original sake" with no water added after distillation.
First, try a sip straight. The rich umami condensed in a single drop will spread quickly in your mouth, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing aftertaste. By diluting it with water or hot water, the aroma and sweetness gently dissolve, letting you enjoy a smooth texture. While retaining a clear body, its gentle rounded flavor pairs perfectly with any dish.
Awamori is the only liquor in the world that matures inside the bottle, and its rich flavor and mellow smoothness increase over time, which is a major attraction. With a bottle of Shokaku, you can enjoy the charm of Awamori at any time and in any situation.
"Sho" means "truly, supreme," and "Kaku" means "knowledge with depth and sophistication." As the name "Shokaku" suggests, this cup is the culmination of everything we have cultivated.
