Coco Farm Winery / Ima Koko Red 2024 (Red) 750ml
Regular price ¥2,860“Ima Koko” featuring calligraphy by Mitsuo Aida, who was born and lived in Ashikaga.
Using Bordeaux varieties like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Japan’s unique Muscat Bailey A, carefully grown across Japan, fermented with wild yeast and wild lactic acid bacteria at the Ashikaga winery. A gentle and hopeful red wine.
Aroma includes fruits like raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry, spicy notes like green pepper, and nuances of barrel aging such as licorice and cocoa.
Light and fresh attack, very gentle tannins with no sharpness in the taste, and moderate acidity that gives the wine a refreshing quality.
Enjoy a supple and well-balanced flavor that lingers on the finish.
