Takeda Winery / Sans Soufre Red 2020 (Red) 750ml
Regular price ¥2,640This wine is made from grapes grown by a cultivation group in Tendo City led by Kazuo Hanawa, who has been entrusted for many years by Takeda Winery to cultivate the Muscat Bailey A variety. Muscat Bailey A is a variety bred in Japan. When carefully cultivated and vinified, it offers concentration and strength.
These grapes were finished using a "sans soufre" method without sulfur dioxide. The wine is unfiltered and bottled naturally, resulting in a robust wine that lets you savor the original taste of the grapes. Enjoy the fresh red fruit aroma characteristic of Berry A and the lively acidity. To produce wine without adding sulfur dioxide, it is essential to use healthy grapes free of rot and with low pH, as well as thorough sorting during processing and strict hygiene management within the winery. In winemaking, we strive for as natural a process as possible without stressing the grapes, with the winemaker regularly checking the condition by eye and managing everything manually.
A deeply colored, powerful wine with the aroma of red fruits, a very good balance of fresh acidity and tannins, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural flavor of the grapes. This level of care in selecting grapes is unique to Takeda Winery, which owns its own vineyards and has thorough knowledge of cultivation.
