We aim to create a liquid with the charming aroma of Zweigelt, rich fruitiness, and a complex, gradually spreading umami.
The year 2023 was very good for early-ripening red varieties, with no rain at all from the end of July to mid-September. To make the most of the quality of the fruit, red winemaking was done in this year.
From the glass, you can smell vivid red fruits and a mysterious, complex aroma. There is also a nuance reminiscent of roasted green tea. On the palate, you feel a soft texture and a gradually spreading umami. If possible, aging for 1 or 2 years will help the somewhat rough elements come together and improve even more.
This wine often divides opinions, but I think those who like it will find it irresistible.
