Using grapes carefully cultivated at Okuma Farm in the Iwadarehara district (Asahi Village), located at 750m elevation in the southwestern part of Matsumoto Plain, at the southern end of the Northern Alps.
Harvested on September 27, 2022, part was fermented with wild yeast and the rest with two different types of dried yeast to add complexity, then blended. Aged for 9 months in new and old French oak barrels.
A wine with rich fruit flavors such as blackberry, plum, and cassis, forest nuances like hay and cedar, and a firm acidity balanced well by oak barrel aging.
