This wine is made from late-ripened Koshu grapes harvested in Katsunuma Town, concentrated using the cryoextraction technique. It was then barrel-fermented for one month in new French and American oak barrels, followed by several months of aging in old barrels.
A citrus aroma like pink grapefruit and yuzu peel, tropical fruits, nuances of butter, and a bouquet of roasted nut-like oak. The palate is rich in fruit flavor with a good balance of refreshing acidity and umami, continuing pleasantly through the finish.
