Regular Price ¥3,600/

At Alfiole, we accept many contract winemaking projects. Being able to brew every year with highly motivated people who share our passion is also one of our pleasures.
In 2024, a collaboration with Hiroaki Katayose of Agri-Cœur. Mr. Katayose was attracted by the charm of Delaware grapes in Kaminoyama and relocated there, starting contract winemaking at Alfiole in 2023.
In Yamagata Prefecture, a major grape-producing area, he is a very hopeful person planning to establish a winery in Kaminoyama in 2025, building trust with many people including farmers and working together to promote the region.
This wine is made by Meguro using the Cabernet Sauvignon from Kaminoyama introduced by Mr. Katayose, and Hokujun made by Mr. Katayose; the two wines, made separately, were blended together.
There is no difference between people growing grapes and people brewing wine.
The finished wine is also a reflection of the person themselves.
Although the wines we aim for differ, I believe it is our generation's responsibility to share the same aspirations, protect our regions, and nurture our culture without letting it fade away.
If people who share the same philosophy meet at Alfiole, inspire each other, and the same efforts spread throughout Japan, there is nothing more wonderful than that.
Winemaking and grape cultivation are 99% tough days, but 1% of everyone's joy saves everything.
We hope to create wines that can make people smile, aiming for even greater heights in the future, and to boost Japanese wine together with local farmers.
