This wine is made from Merlot grapes grown in Azumino City, crushed and fermented at low temperature for 5 days before alcoholic fermentation, followed by about 2 weeks of fermentation at relatively low temperature and then lactic acid fermentation. It was aged at low temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh plum-like fruit flavor. It features a gentle taste with a medium-light body. Please enjoy it as a versatile red wine that pairs well with Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines.
