This wine is made by crushing Merlot grapes from Azumino City and fermenting them at low temperature for 5 days before alcoholic fermentation, followed by about 2 weeks of fermentation at relatively low temperature and then lactic acid fermentation. To preserve the fresh plum-like fruit flavor, it was aged at low temperature in stainless steel tanks. It features a gentle taste with a medium-light body. Enjoy it as a versatile red wine that pairs well with Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines.
