The year 2018 had relatively high temperatures, summer rainfall, and two typhoons hitting in September, making it by no means a year blessed with good weather.
The grapes in our vineyard located at an altitude of 700 meters were no exception.
However, due to thorough leaf removal, pest control timing, shoot management, and fruit thinning, both Cabernet and Merlot achieved high yields and good coloration without issues.
The Cabernet shows good coloration and retains a moderate acidity.
The Merlot vines have been planted for 4 to 5 years, and the soft flavor characteristic of Merlot has finally begun to emerge.
By blending the well-structured Cabernet with the soft Merlot, please enjoy the complexity of the intertwined flavors of the two grape varieties and the exquisite balance of the blend.
