2021 was marked by an early spring, a summer with consecutive midsummer days, a cool period during Obon, and a calm, fine autumn.
In contrast to the hectic harvest season, the wine was carefully nurtured in silence during barrel aging, where even the breath of the wine could be felt.
The aroma reminiscent of ripe berries, prunes, and a hint of spices like black pepper and chocolate whets the appetite. The palate is gentle, yet the tannins with a firm sweetness linger through the finish.
