This wine, named "Noir," which means "black" in French, is a blend made from 100% black grapes grown in Azumino City. It is carefully aged for 13 months in oak barrels. It is finished as an elegant and supple medium-bodied wine.
The aroma is spicy, reminiscent of black pepper and cinnamon, with a coniferous scent like cedar wood. You can also sense a fruity flavor similar to cassis jam. When tasted, it leaves a moderate astringency and a subtle cocoa and coffee flavor on the tongue. This wine has a well-balanced harmony of fruitiness, astringency (tannins), acidity, and oak aroma.
