After destemming the red wine grape variety Merlot, it is immediately pressed into rosé wine. This is a sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It features berry-like aromas and fruitiness derived from Merlot, supported by gentle acidity. It has a dry taste, combining the best of red and white wines, making it a food-friendly wine.
In 2022, it was produced without added sulfites (antioxidants). It has a fresher and more transparent taste.
The beautiful cherry blossom-colored liquid catches the eye. When I first saw this color, I imagined a scene where everything around was dyed cherry blossom pink in spring. Inspired by that scenery and the color of the liquid, I named it "Hanami," meaning a sea of flowers.
