Villa Dest's vineyard is located at an altitude of 850 meters, where the cool climate produces grapes with firm acidity and rich flavor. The carefully cultivated highest-quality grapes are fermented in French oak barrels and aged on the lees for about seven months before bottling. The wine offers rich fruitiness and moderate oak aroma with a full body, while the fine acidity gives it an elegant character.
The 2005 vintage was served at the 2008 Hokkaido Toyako Summit, and the 2014 vintage was served at the 2016 Ise-Shima Summit dinner.
