Domaine Hide / Koshu Tsubo Orange 2023 (Orange) 750ml
Regular Price ¥3,740Brewed using Japan's first "jar for aging wine," developed in collaboration with Mr. Kajo Morioka, the fourth-generation head of the Kajo kiln, a Kyoto pottery studio.
Unlike amphorae, since the inside is not coated with wax, the soil components and firing method directly affect the wine, giving it a unique flavor.
After MC fermentation of Koshu grapes, the wine was pressed and aged half in jars and half in tanks, then blended in a well-balanced manner.
Beautiful amber color. Aroma reminiscent of apricot and the pleasant bitterness unique to Koshu grapes.
With a mellow taste, the nuances of the orange wine's peel add complexity and depth.
