Kimura Cellars / Marlborough Pinot Noir 2020 (Red) 750ml
Regular Price ¥6,050This is a Pinot Noir made by Japanese winemaker Mr. Kimura in Marlborough, New Zealand, which is also a renowned region for Pinot Noir. In the 2019 vintage, it won a GOLD medal at the "International Wine Challenge," the world's largest wine competition with over 16,000 entries from more than 50 countries each year, achieving a ranking in the top few percent.
The 2020 vintage is a great vintage that is on par with the 2019 vintage, which won a GOLD medal! The grapes are, of course, 100% organic, and the hand-picking and sorting are all done by hand.
The ripe fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and black cherry are complemented by nuances of roasted aromas, spices, and red flowers, spreading from the glass. The taste is also harmoniously balanced with a pleasant acidity and enchanting red fruit flavors, resulting in a elegant finish with a refined astringency.
