The Chardonnay, grown in the northern region of Nagano Prefecture along the Chikuma River, is fermented by parcel, allowing for a well-balanced blend of the distinctive base wines from each area. The clay-rich left bank contributes tropical brightness, while the gravelly right bank adds fresh acidity and strength.
