Faintly orange-tinted golden color. Immediately after opening, the fruit aroma is somewhat closed off, but a sweet and complex scent reminiscent of ripe fruit gradually emerges. There are also hints of the scent of sunlit forests and a slightly oxidized, aged floral note. The attack has a strong impression of oak, but you can fully experience the soft sweetness and firm acidity, as well as the energy this wine possesses. In the aftertaste, the fruitiness and oak flavors harmonize, and the finish lingers long with the acidity.
Chardonnay Barrique has been produced every year as the flagship of tetta. However, seeking significant changes from the 2020 VT, we embarked on a reform to fundamentally review our production methods. We are working to reflect the energy of Chardonnay into the wine. This year, the ratio of new barrels has inevitably increased, but I believe that as it matures, the aroma of the barrels will gradually blend in.
