Shinshu Takayama Winery / Pinot Noir 2021 (Red) 750ml
Regular Price ¥3,300The early arrival of spring, followed by consecutive midsummer days and a sudden chill during Obon, brought a gentle and pleasant autumn in 2021. The Pinot Noir was harvested in late September. The process of destemming and crushing the harvested grapes took place during a still warm and sweaty period. I remember the refreshing air and the blue sky spreading over the vineyards when I looked up during the breaks in work. This wine, with its precise and silky tannins combined with a light acidity, offers a rich expression of red berries and prunes, along with floral notes, creating a delicate yet vibrant wine.
