Hokkaido Wine / Otaru Pinot Noir 2019 (Red)
Regular Price ¥4,950A premium wine created with the desire to let people know about "truly delicious Japanese Pinot Noir." This wine is a bold challenge to cultivate Pinot Noir, which is considered difficult in Japan, and has gained recognition on the world stage, winning a bronze medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition. It is one of the Japanese wines that is making a name for itself globally. The grapes are carefully harvested from those nurtured by master grape growers, selecting only the best berries for use. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, fully bringing out the pure aroma, delicate acidity, and smoothness inherent to Pinot Noir. The aging process lasts about 16 months in old French and American oak barrels. During aging, the wine is racked only once, lightly filtered, and then bottled.
This is a high-quality Pinot Noir made in Hokkaido, Japan's most cool climate.
