In Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture, we have cultivated Berry A as a local specialty and named it "Kasai Golden Berry A." Our goal was to create a wine that directly expresses the grapes, which we are confident in regarding their quality and technology, to the extent that they can be branded as a regional product. It is a wine that is light in flavor yet rich in taste. After transporting the grapes to the winery, we placed half of the de-stemmed grapes and half of the whole bunches into the tank to start the fermentation.
This wine is typically made using a method characterized by a pale, vibrant color and low astringency. This year, while adhering to that method, we extended the maceration slightly to better extract the individuality of the grapes. Enjoy the fresh fruitiness, reminiscent of freshly pressed grapes.
