Snow River Brewing / Niagara Secco (White) 2023 750ml

Aiming for a wine that can be enjoyed on the dining table every day, we have crafted a flavorful orange wine made with 100% Niagara, an edible grape variety from Yoichi Town, Hokkaido, fermented with the skins.

The color is a slightly beige-tinted lemon yellow.

The aroma features a well-balanced rise of the unique Niagara muscat and tea-like scents derived from fermentation, along with refreshing citrus notes such as orange, kumquat, and grapefruit, as well as fragrances reminiscent of jasmine and mandarin blossoms.

The flavor is based on a pleasant citrus aroma, enveloped by the umami derived from the fruit peel and a refreshing acidity with depth, leaving a subtle minerality and astringency lingering in the mouth.

Good pairings include lemon cream stew with chicken breast, Korean-style tartar with yellowtail, orange escabeche with fried chicken, and grilled mackerel with yuzu pepper.
