TAKIZAWA WINERY / Delaware Orange San-Soufre Ajuté 2023 (Orange) 750ml
Regular Price ¥2,860This is an orange wine made from Delaware grapes produced in Yoichi Town, Hokkaido, and finished without added sulfur through maceration. The grapes underwent careful selection, and the skins and juice were macerated together for about 5 days to extract flavor and color. After pressing, it proceeded to primary fermentation with wild yeast, followed by natural malolactic fermentation. It was aged in stainless steel tanks for about 7 months, leaving fine lees.
The appearance is a deep orange color. The aroma of Delaware fruit is prominent, with complex notes of amber candy and spices. The taste is enriched by elements derived from the fruit skin, spreading a rich fruitiness and moderate tannins, giving a pleasant body. A sweet aroma and a hint of bitterness linger in the finish, resulting in a very distinctive wine.
