Domaine Mikazuki / Cuvée M Aomihaba 2022 (Cider - White Sparkling) 375ml
Regular Price ¥1,650/

Ishinomaki City in Iwate Prefecture, a long-established apple-producing area, is a fruit-growing region with very rare and favorable conditions along the Sanriku Coast.
Carefully finished as small apples for cider. We minimize the use of pesticides and cultivate in an environmentally friendly manner, using apples that have been abundantly exposed to sea breezes and sunlight. Our own brewery is under preparation, so we brewed using the facilities of another brewery.
The apples, carefully hand-picked, have been crafted with a wine-like flavor in mind, resulting in a dry and refreshing fruity taste. The vibrant golden appearance is also striking, and since it comes in a 375ml half bottle, it is easy to carry and offers a convenient amount for drinking, making it perfect not only as an aperitif but also for outings such as camping and picnics.
The sweetness of the vegetables pairs well, and the delicate bubbles create a refreshing aftertaste when enjoyed with fried foods, making it a great match. The cider, which feels mineral-rich from the sea breeze, also matches well with seafood flavors, so it goes perfectly with seafood tempura. Please enjoy it well-chilled in the refrigerator or similar before your meal pairing.
The label expresses its flavor through makeup, hairstyles, and colors. "Cuvée M" is also "M" which transforms apples into cider by "making up" and it also represents the M in "Mikazuki."
In 2022, we harvested the fruit after letting it ripen on the tree until the last moment. It was soaked in oak chips for 14 days, and you can faintly sense the nuances of the barrel. This label is limited to 1,400 bottles.
A limited label that uses a wine label for promotion as cider. The label is inspired by a crescent moon and the traditional Japanese pattern "Seigaiha."
