The variety known as Yama Sauvignon is a cross between Yama grape and Cabernet Sauvignon, characterized by a strong, wild flavor derived from the Yama grape, along with a solid acidity and richness.
The Yamazaki Sauvignon from Komaki was partially produced using a winemaking method (saignée method) that increases the ratio of grape skins. It has a modest wildness and richness, resulting in a smooth and easy-to-drink flavor that pairs well with any cuisine, whether Japanese, Western, or Chinese, making it a light and easy-to-enjoy wine.
It pairs well with rich meals and is highly recommended.
